1. Personal Data We Collect

1.1 Information you provide to us

• Registration and Account Information: Name and email address. Authentication is passwordless (Google, Facebook, or email magic link).
• User Content and Input Data: Photos of your home or interior spaces ("Uploaded Images") that you upload to generate AI renders. We prohibit uploading images containing identifiable individuals.
• AI-generated renders: The visual outputs produced from your Uploaded Images.
• Communications and Feedback: Messages, support requests, surveys, or ratings you choose to submit.
• Payment Information and Purchase History: Processed via Lemon Squeezy. We do not store full payment card details. We may store records of the Services purchased and subscription status to manage your account.
• Marketing Data: If you sign up for our mailing list, we collect your name and email address. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email we send. Even if you opt out, you will continue to receive transactional or account-related communications from us.

1.2 Information collected via automated means

• Usage Information: To help us understand how you use our Services and to improve them, we automatically receive information about your interactions, including your IP address, device ID, device type, operating system type and version, browser type and version, advertising ID, the pages or other content you view, how long you spend on a page, the features you use, the searches you conduct, and the dates and times of your visits. We may derive approximate location information (such as your city or region) from your IP address. We also collect UTM parameters and advertising click identifiers when you arrive via a marketing link.

1.3 Information we obtain from third parties

When you sign in via Google or Facebook, we receive information from those providers in accordance with their policies (including the Google API Services User Data Policy). We may also obtain Personal Data from marketing partners and publicly available sources.

1.4 Data about others / Special categories

We do not knowingly collect Personal Data about others. We do not collect biometric identifiers or biometric information. Our Services are not directed to children under 18.

2. How We Use Personal Data

We process your Personal Data only when we have a valid legal basis. The table below summarizes our purposes and legal grounds:

Important: We do not use your Uploaded Images to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI models operated by us or any third party. Your images are used solely to generate the renders you request.

3. How We Disclose Your Personal Data

We do not sell your Personal Data. We disclose it only in the following cases:

• AI processing provider: We use third-party AI infrastructure providers solely to generate your requested renders. These provider process your images only for that purpose and are prohibited from using your images to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model.
• Payment processor: Lemon Squeezy (see their privacy policy).
• Service providers: Cloud hosting, analytics, email delivery, and support tools — under strict contractual restrictions.
• Analytics partners: We use Google Analytics and PostHog to collect and process usage data. You can opt out of Google Analytics by downloading the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Advertising partners: We use Google Ads to serve interest-based advertising. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your interactions with our Services and other websites over time in order to show you relevant ads. This data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings.
• Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect rights and safety.
• Business transfers: In a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Use of your Personal Data following such an event will be governed by this Policy as in effect at the time the data was collected.
• With your consent: For any other purpose you explicitly approve.

References to third-party services above are not endorsements of, or representations that we are affiliated with, those parties. Please review their privacy policies independently.

4. Data Retention

We retain your Personal Data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. We do not store your original uploaded images beyond the time strictly needed to generate the AI render. Once the render is generated, the original image is deleted.

The AI-generated renders are retained as follows:

• Trial users: Up to 365 days from the date of generation (after which they are automatically deleted).
• Subscription users: Indefinitely for the purpose of account resumption and history, as long as your account remains active. You can delete individual renders at any time.
• Account information: Duration of account + up to 3 years after closure.
• Payment records: 7 years for tax and financial compliance.
• Usage & log data: Up to 12 months.

When you close your account, we will take steps to delete your Personal Data. Copies may exist in backup systems for a limited period before permanent deletion. We may also retain certain information for longer periods where required for legal purposes, including litigation holds, law enforcement requests, or regulatory audits.

You can delete individual images and renders at any time directly through the platform. You can also delete your entire account and associated data using the self-serve account deletion feature available in your account settings. 5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to ensure our Services function properly, to analyze usage, and to assist with marketing. Users receive a consent banner for non-essential cookies. You can manage preferences via your browser or our cookie settings.

We work with third-party advertising partners to show you ads that we think may interest you. These advertising partners may set and access their own cookies on our Services and may otherwise collect or have access to information about you across different online services over time. We use the following advertising cookies:

Functional Cookies

Some cookies are strictly necessary to make our Services available to you — for example, to keep you logged in. We cannot provide you with the Services without this type of cookie.

6. Biometric Data

We do not collect, store, or process any biometric identifiers or biometric information. Our Services are for home and interior visualization only.

7. Your Rights in Relation to Your Personal Data

Depending on where you reside, you may have the following rights with respect to your Personal Data. To exercise any of these rights, email support@homevisualizer.ai with subject "Privacy Request". Before fulfilling your request, we may ask you to provide reasonable information to verify your identity.

• Access and Portability. You may ask us to provide a copy of the Personal Data we maintain about you, including a machine-readable copy of the Personal Data you have provided to us.
• Rectification and Deletion. You may ask us to correct inaccuracies in your Personal Data, or to have it anonymized or deleted. You can also update your account information directly through your profile settings.
• Restriction and Objection. You may ask us to restrict the processing of your Personal Data, or object to such processing.
• Consent Withdrawal. You may withdraw any consent you previously provided at any time and free of charge. We will apply your preferences going forward; this will not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before your withdrawal.
• Marketing Opt-Out. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails via the unsubscribe link in any marketing email we send. You will continue to receive transactional or account-related communications.
• Complaint. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, including in your country of residence or place of work. We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns directly first.

Please note that there are exceptions and limitations to each of these rights. While any changes will be reflected in active databases promptly, we may retain information for backups, archiving, fraud prevention, analytics, and satisfaction of legal obligations.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have rights to know, delete, correct, and non-discrimination. We do not sell Personal Data. Submit requests to support@homevisualizer.ai with subject "CCPA Privacy Request".

9. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

For EEA/UK/Switzerland users, we rely on the legal bases shown in Section 2. We use Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers to the United States. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

10. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures including TLS encryption and passwordless authentication to protect your Personal Data. We have put in place procedures to address Personal Data breaches, including notification to you and applicable regulators as required by law. No electronic system is completely secure; we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

11. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child without appropriate parental consent where required, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us at support@homevisualizer.ai.

12. International Data Transfers

Our Services are hosted in the United States. By using the Services, you acknowledge that your Personal Data may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate, protected by appropriate safeguards (including Standard Contractual Clauses where required).

13. Links to Third-Party Sites

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not own or operate. These links are not an endorsement of, or a representation that we are affiliated with, any third party. This Policy does not apply to your activities on those services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with any information.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we materially change how we use or disclose your Personal Data, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on our website prior to the change taking effect. Continued use of the Services after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
